Working outside the city areas, giving children and families in the countryside possibilities to change their living conditions, BØRNEfonden try to reach some of the poorest people in this world.

Our work creates positive results every day despite the hard conditions.

The approximate 70.000 people who sponsor a child, and thereby their families and communities, make possible a sustainable development with focus on empowering children and families in small remote communities.

In the annual reports you can read about how our work and sponsorships have helped not only the sponsor children, but also their families; how the parents have increased access to medicine and medical care, how the siblings have access to school as well, and how families have generated income.
